GENERAL INFORMATION | Built in 1884, this Queen Anne style church has withstood the destructive forces of time, weather & inappropriate tuck-pointing. Located just outside the Courthouse Square in Danville, the congregation wishes to ensure the longevity of their church via repair & maintenance.
WORK SCOPE | Jacobs Pannicke Architects, now know as ARCHitecture trio, inc. conducted a thorough & systematic field survey to evaluate the condition of the exterior masonry & identify locations requiring tuck-pointing or brick replacement. The interior of the church was also examined to determine areas in need of plaster repair. Construction Documents were prepared for the first phase of this project with Construction Administration services also provided services to ensure conformance of new materials & techniques with historic bricks & mortar.
