Since 1967, Greiner Brothers, Inc. has provided mechanical contracting services to Indiana & Illinois, specializing in heating, cooling & refrigeration systems & equipment. They have since outgrown their current facility resulting in a disorganized & inefficient working environment. The owners decided to remodel their existing space along with the construction of an addition to meet their present & future needs.

Jacobs Pannicke Architects, Inc. (JPA) was hired to create a new addition along the north & east sides of their existing facility that nearly doubled their space. JPA also reorganized the majority of the interior while utilizing the existing structural system to provide a logical layout that meets current safety, egress & accessibility code requirements. A new finish palette was developed by Lehner Designs, Inc. to present an updated interior appearance.

JPA developed a new one-story brick addition with a pre-engineered truss roof system that coordinates with the existing structure. The exterior was also given an updated look with new fenestration, brick & paint colors as well as new illuminated entry & site signage that improves Greiner Brothers, Inc. street presence. Construction Documents & Construction Administration services are included as part of the overall work scope. Loftus Engineering, Inc. provided mechanical, electrical & plumbing engineering services.
