Best Coffee for Miles is located in a plaza along the Brookville Road Corridor on the southeast side of Indianapolis. Catering to the rapidly growing populace of the area, the owners offer a gourmet alternative to the fast food industry. Locally owned & operated, this one-of-a-kind shop wished to have a unique appearance to go along with their distinctive menu.

Jacobs Pannicke Architects, Inc. (JPA) provided the client with a complete design package for the tenant space build-out of the coffee shop. Two options including all finishes were presented to the client at the end of Schematic Design. During Design Development, the selection of kitchen equipment, casework, furniture & the distinctive lighting design package was finalized. Construction Documents were produced along with Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing design, completed by Hoffman Engineers, Inc. JPA also provided Construction Administration services. A close working relationship between the client & architect was maintained throughout the project to ensure that the owner stayed within their budget & opened for business on time.

In 2003, Jacobs Pannicke Architects, Inc. submitted Best Coffee for Miles for an International Illumination Design Award for interior lighting design.
