In 1990, the Meridian Park Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places & in 2002, the owners of a circa 1910 American Foursquare, located within the district wished to construct a Carriage House at the rear of their property.

Jacobs Pannicke Architects, Inc. (JPA) worked with owners to determine their programmatic requirements & development needs. Designed to coordinate with the existing architectural character of the the main house, the new wood framed 2-story Carriage House features a 3-car garage accessing the alley behind the home. A full workshop complete with half bath is located on the first floor level. An apartment unit was designed for the second floor which utilizes one of the car bays.

Construction Documents were developed by JPA along with procuring a zoning variance for change of use. Construction Administration was provided on an as needed basis.
