One of Indiana’s premier leasing agencies, Van Rooy Properties, located their headquarters in the historic Buschman Building in the Chatham Arch Historic District of Indianapolis. Over the past few years, the growth of the company has necessitated the conversion of underused storage space on the upper floors into offices, meeting rooms, computer equipment facilities, additional restrooms & kitchen space.
Jacobs Pannicke Architects, Inc. (JPA) created Measured Drawings of the existing space & developed Plans to renovate the second & third floors back into useable space. Stripped down to bare studs, brick walls & wood subfloors at an unknown time, all new finishes were added to create a warm office environment that reflects the building's historic character & company’s image. JPA coordinated with Lawson Elser, Inc. & RTM Consultants to ensure that all structural & building code issues were addressed during construction.
JPA’s rapid response time, attention to detail & ability to communicate ideas while understanding the needs of the user have made Van Rooy Properties a repeat client. Over the past several years, JPA has completed seven projects of various sizes & level of detail for the leasing agency.
