Nomination Preparation
Conducted through the National Park Service (NPS) and administered by the State Historic Preservation Officer (Indiana: Division of Historic Preservation and Archeology - DHPA), the National Register identifies historic districts, sites, buildings, structures and/or objects noteworthy to history, architecture, archeology, engineering or culture. Eligible properties must be at least 50 years old and have significance at the local, state or national level in one or more of the following categories: events, persons, design or information. The property must retain a high level of integrity in regard to location, design, setting, materials, workmanship, feeling and associations.
ARCHtrio staff members are recognized by the State of Indiana Division of Historic Preservation and Archeology (DHPA) as qualified preservation professionals capable of completing National Register of Historic Places nominations.
